New Year’s Day. A day for reflection over events of the past and to express hope for the future.
Last year was much blessed for us as a couple and as a family. The highlight was the birth of our first grandchild. Reece came into the world October 27th. What a wonderful blessing he is.
Another highlight was the closeness of our family. What a precious gift family is.
Mary and I enjoyed a Caribbean cruise in late August and early September. Mary has wanted a cruise since before I met her over forty years ago. She finally got it. What a wonderful memory we share over that experience.
My hopes for this year: Continued growth as a family
Travel for Mary and I
Peace in the world
An end to hunger and disease
An end to apathy in the world
A growing economy with jobs for all
A U.S. government that works and is responsive
An awakening with thanksgiving to the presence of God and His many blessings
